Through This Journey
Long before I understood the work of personal growth, I was already in it. Years ago, I jokingly thought I could follow religious traditions until I reached perfection, treating my spiritual life like an obligation to reach a distant goal. Instead, unmet expectations led me to step away from traditional frameworks and explore what lies beneath religion: universal, everyday spirituality.
When my perspective shifted, everything changed. I began to yearn for a spiritual practice that lived in my day-to-day choices, rather than an external force that felt distant or conditional. My study of diverse perspectives—from ancient Eastern philosophies like Master of the Far East to modern thinkers such as Gregg Braden, Bashar, Dr. Joe Dispenza and many others—only deepened this conviction.
Through this journey, I have embraced a few core truths that continue to shape my life:
Thoughts shape reality: I’ve come to understand the power of my own mind. Learning to gently guard my thoughts has shifted my daily experience. I no longer feel like things happen to me; I realize they happen through me.
Life is about being, not just doing: True living is not found in checking off boxes, but in grounding myself in gratitude, kindness, appreciation, and joy.
Meditation is self-discovery: Sitting in quiet reflection has become my sanctuary. I practice it not out of ritual, but to become more familiar with my own inner essence.
Don’t Give Up: While some desires manifest effortlessly, others take intentional, energetic work.
This ongoing journey is one I consider a true blessing. I share this glimpse of my story not as a blueprint, but as an invitation to honor your own path. We all have different journeys to walk, and true joy comes from within. Keep learning, reading, growing, and expanding at your own pace.
